A philosophy where what you do and what you say will solve a prospect’s challenges and problems. A system created to solve most marketers’ challenges and pain of generating more traffic, more leads, and ultimately more sales.

Several Marketing Strategy Philosophies: Interruption Marketing. Permission Marketing. Internet Marketing. Attraction Marketing. We endorse the last three. Interruption Marketing is what you get from Billboards, NewsPapers, Radio, Flashy Ads while you browse the internet. Permission Marketing and Internet Marketing mainly base their strategy on having people Opt into your feeds of information, stories,  and how to’s, all surrounding their service or product. Attraction Marketing comes  from Mike Dillard’s book Magnetic Sponsoring. Mike is a network marketer and his one line to explain his MLM marketing system is this thought “If you want to sell drills, show people how to get the hole they want. Then provide the ‘best drill’ that will give them that hole.” In other words lead with value.

Most home business entrepreneurs have this wow idea of how to make money. They set up their business and then … Reality sets in. How do I get people to see, to listen, to want, what I have to sell? Then they figure they need to market their home business. Here comes the next major problem of most home business entrepreneurs. They have no cash left. “How can I market my home business to get more leads without a serious marketing budget?” Learn Attraction Marketing secrets or get the right network marketing tools. There are costs involved but nothing compared to other marketing solutions. The learning is in your head, not your employee’s who may leave you next year after you train her. Maybe you are reading this article before you made that investment into a brick and mortar business. You still have time to learn and implement marketing into your overall start-up budget.

If your home business is network marketing you may now be at the point of realising you have major problems. You have no business acumen. You have no marketing skills. You have no idea, other than search,  how to use the internet to generate traffic, leads and ultimately sales for your business. If you were to click on the link below and relax for the next hour while master leader Brian Finale takes you through why he created a system for marketers by marketers. Brian  will show you that with this attraction marketing system, you will be able to: as you learn to generate CASH.  Every time you learn something there are more than one thousand people who do not know what you now know. Learn and Earn. Learn and Teach.

This Attraction Marketing System will teach you how to use the internet to fill your sales funnel. You will learn how to create leads and generate the income of your desire. You will achieve the dreams you signed up for. You can build your long-term residual income that was promised to you by your primary network marketing company. You signed into network marketing because they promised a dream car, or a dream home, or a dream vacation. They also promised time freedom. They promised 2-4 years of working massive numbers to reach your income goal. With this attraction marketing system, if you do as you are told, you can achieve all of the above in the same time frame or less. The best part. The Best Part you will not be TIED TO YOUR DOWNLINE. You will have freedom. What ever your team needs is provided by the network marketing system. Whatever network marketing tools you need, it is in the marketing system.

Is Your Method of Lead Generation in Trinidad and Tobago“In” or “Out”?

Posted by Christopher Chin Lee On June - 11 - 2012

They say you have to roll with the changes. Let’s be honest though, it can be hard to let go of our way of doing things. Right now, you’ve got to ask yourself, Is my method of lead generation in Trinidad and Tobago “In”, or “Out”?”

By that, we mean, are you using inbound, or outbound forms of marketing?
Inbound marketing is where consumers come to you through various strategies, including social media, blogs, ebooks, search engine optimization (SEO), or pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.

Outbound marketing is pushing your message out to the audience. The messages are widely distributed through methods such as print or TV ads, cold calling, banner ads, press releases, email marketing, or direct mail.

Choices
Both are aimed at getting out your message, but inbound marketing is the newer kid on the block. It is less intrusive, and it costs less than outbound. According to some stats from Pamorama, The cost per lead in outbound marketing is 62% higher than for inbound. This is not to say that outbound marketing has no place – it does. You simply need to consider your company, it’s goals, and the budget you have to work with.

You also need to consider the target audience. Consumers 18-34 are far more likely to respond to inbound marketing. One reason, they are more connected to the technology involved. They are also used to the idea of researching purchasing decisions and exploring their options.

That being said…
There is some debate that outbound marketing is over.  However, there are statistics from a recent Marketer’s Benchmark Report mentioned in B2C shows marketers rank brand awareness, email marketing, and event marketing – all outbound strategies, as their “most critically important initiatives.” Our most recent blog about inviting email marketing includes some positive statistics about the success of such campaigns, and offers best practice tips.

Be inclusive
We believe that creating an integrated campaign between the two forms is the best path to success. The key is driving awareness and brand credibility. Both can be achieved through mixing the two tactics effectively. Outbound methods can create name recognition and reach a wide audience. Inbound marketing can generate conversation, sharing, and help to perpetuate the image of a helpful, knowledgeable company.

Know your customers and create messaging that speaks to them. Don’t forget to shake things up once in a while. Once consumers get bored with your routine message, they may leave. Lead generation in Trinidad and Tobago doesn’t have to be a difficult choice. Both inbound and outbound marketing methods can help you identify potential customers, and better yet, keep them engaged.

They seem to come out of the woodwork. New social media sites abound, making it tough to know what works and what doesn’t. Lately though, one site has truly grabbed the attention not only of followers, but of businesses looking to get more out of social media marketing in Trinidad and Tobago. Pinterest has exploded in recent months, with more than 7 million unique visitors since it’s launch nearly two years ago, and an increase in visitors over the past 6 months of nearly 4,000%.

It began as a social site where people create boards relating to a theme, then search the web for things they like or want and “pin” pictures, videos, and descriptions of those things to their boards. Followers then may choose to “re-pin” something they see, thus spreading the image around the site. It’s a great way to display your style, and for your followers to get to know you. It’s also become a great way for businesses to use the ‘soft sell’ online.

Whether you have a product, or a service, there’s a way to use Pinterest to your advantage.
  • Share your products by pinning photos and descriptions of them them to a board. If you offer a service, use a photo that projects the idea of what you do. Be sure to pin other related (complimentary but not competing) items to your boards that are not from you. This helps to avoid the obvious selling vibe.
  • Organize your boards by categories, using several topics related to your offerings. You can add a price tag to the items and add a link back to your site. This will boost your SEO as each link that is spread counts as an inbound link.
  • Communicate with customers each time they pin your items. It’s easy to interact on Pinterest, and creates opportunities for positive relationship building.
The plus here is, you aren’t actively selling, which can turn people off. Because people follow topics that they are interested in, you are reaching people already in search of the subject matter you display.
Another nice thing about Pinterest, there is no spam. When signing up, you must request an invite. It doesn’t take long to get a reply, but it helps to weed out unwanted ‘members’.

As for the typical users, RJMetrics report released this month shows Pinterest is retaining and engaging users two to three times more efficiently than Twitter at the same time in it’s history. The viral nature of Pinterest works to your advantage, as more than 80% of pins are re-pins.

Like many of the hot social media sites like Twitter and Facebook when they first took off, don’t count on this meteoric rise to be sustainable. The average number of pins per user is dropping since December… likely due to the surge in popularity drawing the curious, less serious users. But do look for it’s popularity to hold amongst the faithful, and continue to spread, just as it did with the other wildly successful social media sites.
Visit the Pinterest site today and see what it can do for you. Here’s a link to get you started.

5 Steps For Successful Email Marketing in Trinidad and Tobago

Posted by Christopher Chin Lee On February - 15 - 2012

There’s a fine line between email marketing that grabs the subscribers attention, and those messages that receive a quick click on the delete button. Getting attention, providing an accurate promise, and certainty of delivery are the keys to a successful email marketing campaign in Trinidad and Tobago.
There are 5 things you can do to improve your chances for success. Much like tips for any messaging, these are the things that seem simple, but often go overlooked.
  1. Attention Grabbing Subject: It all begins here. If you can’t grab readers attention right away, you’re lost. Try using some of these words suggested by majon.com
  • Bonus
  • Breakthrough
  • Clearance
  • Effortless
  • Free Delivery
  • In Minutes
  • Personalized
  • Step-By-Step
While all of these words may not apply, find one that does, or use a related term that boldly expresses the exact, and exciting nature of what’s being offered.
  1. Brevity: Don’t go on and on about your business, people are busy and look for the quick take. Simply state what you’re offering at the beginning of the message.
  2. Be honest: Don’t promise something just to hook your customers in, then provide them with less. If you’re offering free shipping, or a discount, don’t have numerous exceptions or people will feel duped. Don’t claim your product or service can do something that it can’t. If people get something better than they expected, they will tell others. If they are disappointed, they won’t engage again, and, unfortunately, they will likely tell others.
  3. Avoid distractions: Too many graphics and hyperlinks can get in the way of a good message. They may also display incorrectly
  4. Test: If you include a link, be certain it works by testing it out on different operating systems so customers will be directed where you want them.
One important bit of business before you put these email marketing tips into practice, and that’s be sure that your list of addresses is targeted and accurate. When signing up customers for email marketing, be clear about what they’ll be getting. Will it be discounts, product information, or tips? Then be certain you get the correct address. When they are on an opt-in form, have them enter their address twice for accuracy. You don’t want any hard bounces – emails returned for bad, or non-existent addresses.

Maximizing Social Media Marketing – What Twitter Can Do

Social media marketing is an effective tool for getting consumer attention, and creating word-of-mouth.
Your posts, updates, and tweets can generate buzz. But many business owners are busy, and finding the time to update your social media can be difficult. So, being able to use social media to perform other tasks, and doing it easily would be beneficial, right?

Alternate use
Twitter is an excellent tool for drawing people to your website. But what if a large portion of your customer base isn’t on Twitter? You can use it for a purpose other than tweeting thoughts and links, it’s also an easy way to update your website without having to go into the back-end mechanics of your site.

Rather than simply having a Twitter button, if you use a Twitter widget, you can update information on your site, such as “closed for inventory today”, or “one day sale tomorrow”. Widgets are a tool that enables direct manipulation of data. Being able to manipulate what appears on your website simply through using Twitter can make your life easier.

You can check here for the widgets.

Traditional use – improved
You may be comfortable using Twitter for it’s traditional purpose of reaching out to followers, but want to improve your effectiveness. It appears that timing, frequency, and word choice really do matter. I recently came across some research done by Hubspot’s Dan Zarella. He looks at how to generate more clicks on Twitter. His infographic displays results about how long your tweets should be, where to place links, best wording, when to tweet, and pace of tweeting. Look here for the infographic.

Yes, there’s a lot to manage when it comes to social media marketing. Streamlining the process and maximizing the execution will enhance your presence. In the busy world of business, having a solid plan can save you time and bring greater results.

Digital Marketing in Trinidad and Tobago Focus: The Rise of the Tablet

Posted by Christopher Chin Lee On February - 10 - 2012

Tapping and swiping. That’s what more and more people are doing as tablet use grows. Nearly half of respondents to a recent Google survey said they spend more time with their tablet than their desktop or laptop. Marketing Profs cites a Walker Sands report showing that website traffic generated via mobile device more than doubled last quarter. The iPad saw the second largest increase after Android phones. Much like the surge in mobile use, digital marketing efforts in Trinidad and Tobago should focus on how this device is not only different from mobile phones, but still quite different from desktop.

Tablet users may find that smartphone content is too simple, yet the inability to navigate with a mouse makes desktop oriented sites too complicated. The activities tablets are being used for deserves attention as well. According to a study by IBM Benchmark , users were twice as likely to complete a purchase on the device than it’s mobile cousin, the smartphone.

That being said, let’s take a look at how to customize your storefront for optimal accessibility on a tablet. While tablets have larger, easier to read screens than a smart phone, the ‘hands-on’ experience proves challenging.
  • PC users can easily select items and navigate your web page with the click of a mouse, but tablet users may find it more difficult. The tapping and swiping required to accomplish tasks on a tablet can make one feel “fumble-fingered” when trying to make precise moves. Make certain you tailor your page with larger buttons so users don’t wind up on the wrong screen when making their selection. Test your page to be sure it’s easy to use.
  • The iPad doesn’t support Adobe Flash, so if your site relies on that tool, you’ll need to find an alternative for your tablet storefront.
  • As the statistics from IBM reflect, more people sitting down with a tablet are ready to buy. Make the process from browsing to buying a simple one. The faster and easier the steps, the higher the likelihood users will stay with it, and complete the sale.
Gartner predicts an “explosion” in tablet sales over the next several years, with iPads being the industry leader. So now is the time to be certain your business is tablet ready, and that your digital marketing in Trinidad and Tobago is honed in on the device.

Do you have a tablet? What are you most likely to use it for?

Lead Generation in Trinidad and Tobago: Are You Maximizing Your Website?

The first thing you need to ask yourself – “Is one of my goals to increase lead generation in Trinidad and Tobago? Chances are, you will answer yes. Now ask yourself “Am I making the most of all my online properties to accomplish this?” If the answer is no, then perhaps taking a closer look at your website would be a good place to begin.

Landing page optimization check
Updated design and regular postings on your site will do a lot to draw leads. But sometimes it’s the nitty-gritty ‘behind the scenes” work that could really provide the boost needed. Here are 3 areas that should be examined, and perhaps adjusted to help your landing page conversion rates.
  1. Testing: Don’t make the mistake of not doing any testing on your pages. Be certain to use proper page analytics and metrics to determine performance. It’s not recommended to test pages sequentially, instead, run the tests on all of them at the same time.
  2. Connections: There’s nothing more frustrating than clicking on an ad for product A, then being directed to a page about product B. Match your ad message to the proper landing page.
  3.  Purpose: If the landing page is designed to convert prospects into leads by getting them to a conversion page, then it should be devoid of any unecessary information or links. Don’t distract the viewer from the goal.
Ioninteractive.com provides an A-Z approach to improving your page for lead generation. Here are some of the highlights we found useful.
  • Buttons – avoid the boring… instead of “submit” describe what they’re accomplishing with the click, like “get the coupon”
  • Directional Cues – lead your visitors to the form, or wherever you want them to go. Arrows are obvious… but subtlety works too, try an image of a person looking towards the spot where you want to direct traffic.
  • Forms – keep them short and be sure the information required is proportional to the give-away.
  • Mobile – make it mobile friendly and size appropriate.
  • Progressive profiling – Use the forms on your site to help build prospect files. Try asking new questions each time someone returns to your landing page. Develop a nurture program.
  • Targeted – make the landing page ad specific and traffic source specific so it will meet the needs and expectations of your visitors.
Eye catching design is a great way to attract and keep visitors on your site, but paying attention to the details, and functionality will go farther in generating the leads you need.

Getting noticed is tougher these days. Make it easier with slight alterations in your messaging for social media, mobile marketing, and website content.

Understanding the Channels for Social Media Optimization in Trinidad and Tobago

It may not be as simple as it seems. Knowing just how social media marketing works, and how best to utilize it, can have a big impact on your social media optimization in Trinidad and Tobago. The following quote out of a recent Convonix social media marketing conference in Mumbai sums it up well. It explains that engagement in social media is more than ads on Facebook or spamming people on Twitter. “It’s a philosophy of being open and interacting with existing, and potential customers”.

There’s no doubt that social media drives much of consumer behavior and influences decisions these days. Consider these statistics.

  • Most word of mouth is positive on social media… with 80% of product ratings garnering 4 or 5 out of 5 stars.
  • 53% of people on Twitter recommend companies/products in Tweets, with 48% stating their intention to buy.
  • 81% received advice from friends through a social site relating to a product purchase, with 74% finding the information influential in their own decisions.

Getting in the game

Developing a plan of action and aligning it with your goals requires assessing your role in the enterprise, and some consideration of why people access social media for business.

  • Know the intent of your audience and the reasons they access the various social media channels
  • Take stock of your relevance in using Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In and any other platforms
  • Understand your industry and competitors and how they are using social media

Once you’ve developed a plan of action, it is vital to integrate your marketing strategy across channels and tie it to your website. Develop a common voice and consistency in your presentation. Conduct a regular, engaging flow of content and commit to monthly reporting of your results.

Monitoring is vital to social media optimization

The statistics above demonstrate the high rate of positive talk on social sites when it comes to reviews…but what if there is a negative review? Don’t fear, instead, use it as an opportunity to address issues. American Express reports 70% of people expect an apology for bad service or support.

If you aren’t monitoring your social media, you miss an opportunity to correct a problem and to keep it from spreading. Go back to the philosophy of being open, and of interacting. Reach out to consumers to have a dialogue, let them be heard, and finally, educate yourself to avoid future problems.

Social media marketing and it’s optimization requires effort, but can truly boost your company’s presence and reputation, and it can generate leads, and inspire new customers and clients. Busy entrepreneurs looking for social media optimization in Trinidad and Tobago may want to hire a firm to develop and conduct a plan… look into it today.

Peer pressure works. I think we have all experienced a moment when we became followers, rather than instigators. But in the business world… leading is your goal. So, why aren’t you invested in social media marketing Trinidad? You may be saying, “we already have a Facebook page”, which is very helpful… but are you in the Twitter game as well? It’s not new… Twitter has been around for 5 years, but the potential for it to help your business grow is only recently being discovered, and who knows how far it could take you.

Twitter works for business, because, unlike other marketing plans, you have already been invited to the party. Non Permission Based Email campaigns can annoy, some people are afraid to “Like” on Facebook, and direct mail often winds up in the trash. But here’s where Twitter is different. If someone is following you, they have already indicated that they want you to inform them. It really is something to look into when planning your social media marketing Trinidad. So consider getting on board, or having an on-line marketing company engage and monitor for you. After all, and here’s the peer pressure part of this report,
  • 88 of the Fortune Top 100 use Twitter daily.
  • 80% of customer service Tweets are negative… so you want to be there to monitor, manage, and respond!
It may be challenging to measure the impact of Twitter on your business, but consider that every contact, and every engagement will be valuable, whether it has created good word-of-mouth, or a true conversion.
If you’re not convinced about the reach of Twitter… check out these statistics!
